About Me
My name is Hugh Harvey, a former professional cyclist who raced with Arkéa–B&B Hotels. Racing on a world level exposed me to the full spectrum of high-performance cycling, from cutting-edge training strategies and periodisation, to nutrition tactics and race-day preparation. I now bring all of that experience directly to riders like you. My goal is simple: to help you get the most out of yourself and discover WattWorks!
Whatever holds you back from performing, I’ve likely faced it myself and learned how to overcome it! After more than 100,000 km of training in the last three years, I combine science-backed knowledge with real-world racing experience to help riders train smarter, race stronger and manage the stresses of competition.
I know what it’s like to line up on world-class stages (including the legendary Paris–Roubaix). I understand the work it takes to prepare, recover and perform at that level. I use that perspective to guide riders through training, race preparation and high-pressure events, helping you apply professional strategies to achieve your personal best.

Welcome to the science of speed - and the art behind it. Grand Tour is the all-access coaching experience built for athletes chasing true peak performance. Every ride is analysed in depth; power curves, training load, efficiency, and physiological response; blending data-driven insights with the perspective of real racing experience.
You’ll get continuous feedback, open contact, and rider-initiated calls whenever needed. This is hands-on coaching: fully customised, constantly evolving, and supported by modern sports science. I’ll fine-tune everything from your periodisation and recovery balance to your real-world fuelling and taper strategy with your included TrainingPeaks Premium account.
Nutrition and tactical guidance come from both evidence-based practice and the hard-earned lessons of racing. Not only understanding what should work, but what actually does. You’ll learn how to manage the realities of fatigue, form, and high-volume weeks with precision.
